SHORT TOUR ITINERARY
(Wednesday, July 29th – Tuesday, August 4th)

WEDNESDAY, JULY 29th or JULY 30th
Evelinn and John will pick you up at the Aurora International Airport and drive you directly to the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala. Lodging at Hotel Casa Santo Domingo, or Hotel Posada San Sebastian.

THURSDAY, JULY 30th
Departure at 9:00 a.m. to visit the City of Antigua Guatemala, where we will be able to learn more about the Central Plaza, The Cathedral, and the Churches of San Francisco and the Merced. We will give you time to shop and to have lunch on your own. We will then depart to the town of San Antonio Aguas Calientes. At the end of the day, we will bring you back to Hotel Casa Santo Domingo or Hotel Posada San Sebastian.

FRIDAY, JULY 31st
Free on your own, or Tour of Antigua Guatemala if you missed it the day before. At 5:00pm we will make a Tour of the Hotel Casa Santo Domingo. At 7:00pm Rehearsal Dinner.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st
Free day on your own.
“WEDDING HENDERSON-BORRAYO” at 11:00 a.m.
Lodging at Hotel Casa Santo Domingo or Hotel Posada San Sebastian.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 2nd
We will depart at 8:00am to Guatemala’s Highlands to visit the town of Chichicastenango, where we will be able to visit the market and the church of Santo Tomas. We will drive in the afternoon to the city of Panajachel at Lake Atitlan. Lodging at Hotel Porta del Lago, or Hotel Dos Mundos

SUNDAY, AUGUST 2nd
Dr. Brian Henderson at 10:00 a.m. we will bring you to the Aurora International Airport. Return home….happy travels!!!

MONDAY, AUGUST 3rd
At a specified time, you will take a boat trip across the lake to Santiago Atitlàn, where we will visit the town, including one of the oldest churches in the region. We will return to Panajachel in the afternoon and depart to Guatemala City. Lodging at Hotel Grand Tikal Futura.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4th
Tammi, David, Colten, Conner Vacha-Haase, Mark Swartz and Carrie Gleeksman, the shuttle bus of Hotel Grand Tikal will drop you off at the Aurora International Airport at 8:30 a.m. Return Home.....happy travels!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4th
GUATEMALA CITY TOUR HALF DAY
Departure at 8:30 a.m. to visit Guatemala City. We will take you to the Central Plaza, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace Museum, The Relief Map and Downtown, the continue to South of the City Las Americas Avenue. Then Back to Hotel Grand Tikal Futura.

Dr. Paul Brown, Mrs. Joyce Brown and Mrs. Linda Popovich you have free on your own and will lodge in Guatemala City at Hotel Grand Tikal Futura.

LONG TOUR ITINERARY
(Tuesday, August 4th – Saturday, August 8th)            

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4th
In the afternoon at 3:00pm the shuttle bus will drop you off at the Aurora International Airport. A Plane will take you to the City of Flores, Petén. You will be received by our agent, Mr. Gemner Mendoza, who will take you to Hotel, lodging at Hotel Casa Elena de las Flores.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5th
Dr. Paul Brown, Mrs. Joyce Brown, and Mrs. Linda Popivich, at 10:30 a.m. the shuttle us of Hotel Grand Tikal Futura will drop you off at the Aurora, Return Home.....Happy Travels!!!

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5th
TOUR OF TIKAL
We will depart from the city of Flores, Petén and drive for about an hour to Tikal National Park. After checking-in, we will initiate a tour through this fascinating Mayan City, visiting sites such as the Q complex, the twin pyramids, the north acropolis, the Gran Jaguar temple, the Facemasks temple, and Temple IV. Lunch will be included. Lodging at Hotel Casa Elena de las Flores.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 6th
NATURAL PARK OF IXPANPAJUL
We will depart from Flores, Petén to the Natural Park of Ixpanpajul, where you will be in contact with the rainforest and enjoy other attractions such as the Sky Way (hanging bridges) or the Canopy Tour. Lodging at Hotel Casa Elena de las Flores.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th
At 5:00 am we will depart from the Hotel Casa Elena de las Flores and take you to the Airport, Return to Guatemala City. Then you are invited to Evelinns parent’s house Lodging Hotel Grand Tikal Futura.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th
At 8:30 a.m. The shuttle bus of Hotel Grand Tikal Futura will drop you off at the Aurora International Airport, Return ……..Happy Travels!
